A vacant spot on the County Board was filled Thursday night at the DeWitt County Board meeting. Cole Ritter was nominated to fill the spot vacated by Dan Ballenger, who resigned the Board to take a seat at the Clinton City Council. Jerry W. Crabtree, 65 of Lincoln, passed away at 1:52 p.m. May 17, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. Jerry was born on August 2, 1949 in Decatur, son of John and Mary Wallen Crabtree.
