Lottery Scratch-Off Ticket Funds Breast Cancer Research

It's an investment that could lead to a cure for breast cancer and now you can contribute to the cause.  By purchasing a two dollar "Carolyn Adams Ticket for the Cure" lottery scratch-off, you'll help educate people, promote awareness, and fund research projects.  State Senator Mattie Hunter says both public and private institutions can qualify for grants from the monies raised and some are already making a huge impact.

The Ticket for the Cure scratch-off hit stands in 2006 and has already brought in nine-million dollars.  One-hundred percent of the net proceeds go toward the cause.  The fund is overseen by an advisory committee which is comprised of medical professionals, researchers, and breast cancer survivors.
