Investigation into the scene of an accident, which occurred at approximately 2:23 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011, revealed that a vehicle driven by Larry Foster, 54, Jacksonville was northbound on US Highway 51 when a cow entered the right lane of travel. Foster struck the cow with the driver’s side of his vehicle which caused him to lose control. The semi-truck then spun around and rolled over in the median. Foster was transported by ambulance to Decatur Memorial Hospital. No citations were issued.

Investigation into the scene of an accident, which occurred at approximately 3:22 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011, revealed that a vehicle driven by Larry Jones Jr., 28, Lincoln was westbound on Ill. Rt 10 just west of Clinton when the vehicle left the roadway striking the ditch causing damage to the vehicle. Jones was not injured. No citations were issued.
