>>Saints, Packers Raise Curtain On NFL Season

(Green Bay, WI)  --  The curtain raises on the 2011 NFL season with the annual Thursday night kickoff game.  It's a matchup of the last two Super Bowl champions as the Green Bay Packers host the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field.  The Pack rode the right arm of quarterback Aaron Rodgers to three straight playoff road wins over the Eagles, Falcons and Bears last season before knocking off the Steelers 31-25 to win Super Bowl 45.  It was Green Bay's fourth Super Bowl title and first since Super Bowl 31 in 1997.  The Saints followed up their Super Bowl 44 victory over the Colts by going 11-and-5 last year and securing an NFC Wild Card berth.  New Orleans went on the road to play the 7-and-9 NFC West champion Seahawks and was upset 41-36 in a first-round shootout in Seattle.  Five-time Pro Bowl quarterback Drew Brees is back to lead the charge as the Saints look to make another championship run in 2011.
