Lincoln/Logan County Farm Days This Weekend; Highlights Agriculture in Logan County

The Lincoln/Logan County Tourism Bureau will be having their 5th Annual Fall Farm Days this weekend.

The weekend event is a salute to agriculture in Logan County. The Farm Days are in conjunction with the Atlanta and Mt. Pulaski Fall Festivals this weekend. Executive Director of the Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bereau of Logan County Geoff Ladd explains there is no specific tour times, but rather it will be a self guided tour from Chestnut through Beason and Lincoln.

The Farm Days this year will feature the towns of Mt. Pulaski and Chestnut. Ladd explains Chestnut is now officially the Geocenter of Illinois.

For the 2nd year now Lincoln Corn Maze will be open from 1 to 10 pm Saturday for anyone to come and enjoy. Ladd notes, the maze this year is much bigger than last years first ever corn maze.

Saturday events also include Saturday's Farmer's Market in Skully Park. Gail's Pumpkin Patch between Beason and Lincoln will be open and will feature special entertainment by Paul Gleason who is a local historian. Gleason will present from 1-3 pm on Sunday on agriculture during the Civil War.
