The Georgia Pardons and Paroles Board on Tuesday denied clemency for Davis, exhausting his legal appeals. Davis was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1989 shooting death of Savannah Police Officer Mark MacPhail. Davis' last hope to stop tonight's scheduled execution was the Pardons and Paroles Board hearing Monday, which didn't go in his favor.
