Entertainment Adds To Apple And Pork Line Up

The Apple and Pork Festival is this weekend for the City of Clinton.

Thousands will make their way to the city this Saturday and Sunday. The festival features food of all varieties and vendors of all types throughout the city, and one aspect of the festival that sometimes gets overlooked is the entertainment. Larry Buss is the Resident Manager at the CH Moore Homestead, the host of the Apple and Pork Festival, he says the goal of the entertainment is to enhance the festival, but not be the reason for the festival.

The Saturday morning entertainment will kick off with the Clinton High School band. Buss says he has been hoping to work things out so the band can perform at the festival, and things finally worked out this year. He believes whatever they perform will be an excellent way to kick off the day.

While the entertainment is not the draw of the Apple and Pork, the line up of entertainment this year is very good. Buss notes the music fits in very will with traditional Apple and Pork music and there will be something for everyone.
