Corn Harvest Better Than Expected

Early harvest numbers in Western Illinois have been better than expected.  Michael Zecher says he's been pleasantly surprised with his first couple of days of picking corn.

Zecher says that means they're looking at yields between 150 and 185.  He hopes to start harvesting soybeans later in the week. He's holding out hope, but does have some concerns.  He says the beans may be smaller than he anticipates.  Zecher farms in the Aledo and Joy areas.
