Blue Ridge District Hosting 'Vision Team' Meeting Tonight

The Blue Ridge School district's Mansfield facility project continues to make strides in becoming a reality.

The next step for the project is the "Visioning Team". Superintendent of Blue Ridge Schools Susan Wilson explains the group is open to anyone within the Blue Ridge School district, not just Mansfield. She says this is a two night process that gets started tonight.

Wilson expects to get a lot of input from staff members on various aspects of the building. She stresses getting more variety in perspectives will help the administrators and the architects put together a complete building design that meets the needs of the whole community.

The set of meetings begin tonight at the Blue Ridge Jr. High School gym at 6 and will run until 9, with the same time and location for Thursday. Wilson notes, while the cut off to RSVP was yesterday, she does not want to deny anyone the opportunity to participate, so she asks residents to call the district with their information as soon as they can, at 309-928-9141.
