Bears Fire Angelo, Lovie Stays, Martz Resigns

The Chicago Bears are making changes, but the head coach isn't one of them.  The Bears fired general manager Jerry Angelo on Tuesday after the team finished 8-and-8 and missed the playoffs for the fourth time in five years.  Meanwhile, the team announced head coach Lovie Smith will return next season.  He's been at the helm since 2004.  Offensive coordinator Mike Martz won't be back.  According to the "Chicago Tribune," he has resigned due to philosophical differences.
