West Virginia Crushes Clemson In Orange Bowl

Darwin Cook's 99-yard fumble return for a touchdown sparked an onslaught and sent 23rd-ranked West Virginia to a 70-33 win over 15th-ranked Clemson in the Orange Bowl.  Andre Ellington coughed up the costly fumble at the goal-line with Clemson down 21-17 in the second quarter.  WVU led 49-20 at halftime and 63-20 in the third quarter.  Geno Smith passed for 401 yards and six touchdowns for the Mountaineers, who end the year 10-and-3.  Tavon Austin had four touchdown grabs in the win.  WVU's 70 points are the most ever scored in a bowl game.  Tajh Boyd threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns, but accounted for three turnovers for Clemson.  The Tigers end the year 10-and-4.
