Sam Hurd Indicted On Two Counts

Former NFL wide receiver Sam Hurd has been indicted on two counts by a federal grand jury in Dallas.  The former Chicago Bear and Dallas Cowboy was indicted on one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, and one count of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine on Wednesday.  Hurd was arrested in Rosemont, Illinois in December by agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and cut by the Bears two days later.  He faces 10 years-to-life if convicted on the conspiracy count, and five-to-40 years if convicted on the possession with intent to distribute count.
