The northbound lanes of Interstate 55 in Springfield, just north of Clearlake,briefly closed yesterday after an accident involving three semi-trucks took place during the morning hours.  Police say one truck got too far over in the left lane and got caught in the cables off the shoulder.  He got free, but overcorrected to the right and sent another semi-truck into the cables.  Another semi-truck slammed into the second truck from behind.  Two of the drivers were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
