The Mid-Illinois Chapter of the Red Cross has a new face.

Carl Baker has taken over as the Executive Director of the Red Cross. He says his job is to be there in a persons time of need. He adds to this point, his time as Executive Director has gone very well.

Baker feels is new role fits him well. He says being from the four county region makes him a good fit for the Executive Director role because he knows the area and the people. He also enjoys being involved.

Baker took over October 1 for Dennis Eller.

The Mid-Illinois Chapter of the Red Cross serves Macon, Moultrie, DeWitt and Shelby Counties.
