Fisher Decides On Rams

The St. Louis Rams have their new head coach.  Former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher has agreed to take over in the Gateway City.  Fisher sat out coaching in 2011 after his dismissal from Tennessee and had been deciding between offers from St. Louis and the Miami Dolphins.  He replaces Steve Spagnuolo, who was fired after going 10-and-38 in three years at the helm.

With Jeff Fisher on board as Rams head coach, the next step for the 53-year-old is to fill out his coaching staff.  ESPN reports Fisher met yesterday with former Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.  Both reside in Tennessee so the meeting became convenient for both.  On the other side of the ball, New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is rumored to be willing to reunite with Fisher in St. Louis.  The two spent 16 seasons together in Tennessee.
