Bulls Hold Off Knicks; Rose Named All-Star Starter

Derrick Rose poured in 32 points and dished out 13 assists as the Bulls held off the Knicks, 105-102.  Carlos Boozer collected 16 points and nine rebounds for Chicago, which has won seven of its last 10 games.  Kyle Korver also netted 16 points in the victory.  Amar'e Stoudemire had 34 points and 11 boards for the Knicks, who slipped to 8-and-14.  Carmelo Anthony netted 26 points of 10-of-26 shooting in the loss.

(New York, NY)  --  Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic was the leading vote-getter for this month's All-Star Game and will start in front of his home crowd at the Amway Center.  The starters for both teams were announced Thursday.  Joining Howard on the East's squad are forward Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks, forward LeBron James and guard Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and point guard Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.
