The Clinton Maroons faced off against the Argenta-Oreana Bombers this evening in more Conference action. The Maroons came out ready to win which was evident as they held onto a close 16-14 lead over the Bombers at the end of the first quarter. The Bombers however, answered back quickly in the second as they led the game 24-21 going into the half. Coming back out, the Maroons had a hard time keeping the ball and that was obviously a large contributer to their close loss. Both teams fought hard to the end but the Bombers had the victory with a final score of 58-51. The Maroons were led by Dylan Scott who had a total of 12 point throughout the game. The Maroons now move to 3-18 in the season. The Bombers were led by Kegan McHood who had a total of 17points throughout the game and helped move the team to 7-13 on the season. The Bombers shot 13 for 13 at the free throw line. The Maroons next play on Tuesday at 7:30 pm. We'll have all the action right here on WHOW.
