United Way Re-Introduces New Face

The United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois is re-introducing a face very familiar to the community.

Debbie Bogle will the United Way's new Resource Development Director. The United Way is currently in the middle of their yearly campaign, which they seek contributions from local businesses and groups around the area to support organizations the United Way endorses. Bogle explains her job will be to meet with organizations and explain how their campaign works and the things the moneys they receive go to help fund.

Bogle explains this is her second time around as an employee with the United Way, however, she explains she never stopped being involved with them. Being involved as a Board Member and volunteer she really feels like being a part of the United Way is a good way to make a difference.

Director of Community Impact at the United Way, Chad Clevenger says the campaign they are about ready to wrap has their numbers a little less than halfway to their goal of 40-thousand dollars. He says those numbers are deceiving because they have not received the totals from some of their larger contributors.
