In a game heard on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons were defeated in the regional semi-final game in Clinton by the Maroa-Forsyth Lady Trojans. The Lady Maroons were led by senior guard Madi Bevins who had eight and by Jessi Scott and Morgan Hickman who had seven points each. The Lady Trojans were led by Taylor Butler who had twelve points in the game.

The loss came with a bounty of Maroon turnovers and a sub par performance at the charity stripe shooting five of fourteen as the Lady Trojans buried eleven of their nineteen free throw attempts.

With the loss the Lady Maroons end their season with an overall record of eighteen and eleven and seven and four in conference play under head coach Josh Williams. And the Lady Trojans with their victory will advance to the regional championship contest with the opponent to be determined, their record goes to eleven and fifteen. That game will be played Friday night at Clinton High School.
