Time is running out to attend this week's annual meeting of the DeWitt County Soil & Water Conservation District.

The District’s 68th Annual Meeting takes place Friday at the Clinton Country Club.  Registration will begin at 7:30 AM, with a buffet breakfast, served at 8:00 AM.. 

The speaker for the morning will be Wes Wheeler bringing Classic Country Comedy.  Wes has entertained all over Central Illinois since 1985.  Wes grew up on a farm, living in the country and working in the agribusiness industry his entire life. 

A short business meeting of the SWCD will be held.  Three people will be elected for two-year term as members of the Board of Directors.  A review of the past year’s successes and the coming year’s programs will be presented.  

There is no charge for attendance; although donations will be accepted at the door to help offset the cost of the meal.
