>>Bulls Open Up Homestand

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Chicago Bulls hit the hardwood this evening as they open up a six-game homestand against the Sacramento Kings at the United Center.  The Bulls had a five-game winning streak snapped with a 95-91 setback at Boston on Sunday to fall to 23-and-7 on the season.  They wrapped up a nine-game road swing at 6-and-3.  Chicago continues the homestay on Thursday against the Celtics.

>> Bulls' Rose Day-To-Day

Bulls star Derrick Rose remains day to day for Chicago because of lower back spasms.

Rose was examined Monday by a specialist, and general manager Gar Forman says no structural damage was found. That's good news for the Eastern Conference-leading Bulls.

The league's reigning MVP, Rose is averaging 22.0 points and 7.8 assists, but he's missed seven games because of problems with his back and left big toe. He sat out the past two games at Charlotte and Boston and being limited in the previous two.
