After seeing attendance drop Illinois has lowered the cost of some football tickets for 2012.
The school announced Tuesday that season tickets will cost from $32.86 to $45 a game. Last season the prices ranged from $40-$45.
Some single-game tickets will also be cheaper. Last season the price varied by opponent and ranged from $50 to $65 a game. This fall non-conference single-game tickets will sell for $25 a game and all Big Ten games will be $50.
Illinois Athletic Director Mike Thomas fired Ron Zook after last season. Thomas cited both Zook's 6-6 record and declining attendance among the reasons he let Zook go and hired replacement Tim Beckman from Toledo.
Attendance last season dropped just under 50,000 a game from more than 54,000 in 2010.
