Quinn: Close Loopholes To Pay Debt

Governor Quinn didn't mention much about the state's six-billion dollars worth of unpaid bills in his Budget Address but he did mention one possible solution.

The state still has about 120-thousand bills that haven't been paid.  It's just one of the reasons Illinois has one of the worst credit ratings in the nation.  Springfield Senator Larry Bomke says closing the loopholes will bring in about 160-million dollars, which is just a drop in the bucket when it comes to eliminating the debt.
