Kevin Murphy has been named the Vice President of Business Services for Special Olympics Illinois at the state headquarters in Normal. He will be responsible for overseeing a broad range of financial, human resources, risk management, technology, facilities and logistics services for the state organization.

Murphy has 20 years of professional experience in the field of finance and as a business executive. He worked as the assistant vice president and relationship manager for Chase Auto Finance/JP Morgan Chase for the past 13 years. He was also a marketing representative for Bank One Auto Finance in Milwaukee, Wis. for four years and a loan officer and assistant branch manager for Bank One in Peoria for two years. Murphy began his career out of college as a senior assistant manager for Associates Finance in Peoria, where he worked for three years.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
