The DeWitt County Board is seeking professional input in regards to permits they are receiving for the landfill.

Land Use Committee Chair Terry Ferguson explains the company they are seeking to work with only works with governmental agencies, which makes them pretty exclusive in who they chose to work with.

The Committee may seek out alternative companies to potentially find lower bids. Ferguson says he has spoken with Counties Patrick Engineering has worked with before and all of them were satisfied with the work they did.

Ferguson says they have forwarded recent permit modifications and copies of host agreements to Patrick Engineering. He says Patrick Engineering is reviewing the documents and will have estimates on cost in the future.
