West Holds Off East In All-Star Game

Kevin Durant had 36 points and seven rebounds as the West held on for a 152-149 win over the East in the 61st NBA All-Star Game in Orlando.  Durant was named the game's Most Valuable Player.  Kobe Bryant scored 27 en route to passing Michael Jordan for the most career points in All-Star Game history.  Blake Griffin finished with 22 points and eight rebounds in the victory.  The West All-Stars never trailed and led by as many as 21 in their second straight win.  LeBron James hit six three-pointers as part of a 36-point night for the East.  James also had six boards and seven assists.  Heat teammate Dwyane Wade logged a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the loss.
