Ryan Newman earned a second straight victory for Stewart-Haas Racing and denied Hendrick Motorsports in the process by taking the checkered flag at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday.  Newman recovered from an early pit-road speeding penalty and took advantage when Hendrick drivers Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson were involved in a wreck during the first green-white-checkered finish.  A victory by either driver would have given HMS its 200th win in the Cup series.  Johnson and Gordon dominated most of the race along with Hendrick teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr., who finished third.  Johnson drove the 48-car to a 12th place finish, while Gordon came in 14th.  A.J. Allmendinger came in behind Newman to take second, while Matt Kenseth finished fourth followed by Martin Truex Jr.
