The Clinton Maroons were defeated 10-2 Monday afternoon at the hands of Champaign Centennial High School. Centennial used a five run fourth inning to propel them over the Maroons. Colten Reeves started on the hill for the Maroons going just 3 1/3 giving ups eight runs, seven earned, on seven hits walking three and striking out two. Kyle Birk worked 1 1/3 innings of good relief giving up one unearned run on one hit and striking out one. Greg Osgood worked two innings of one run ball, giving up no earned runs one five hits and one strike out. Osgood and Josh Merrick each doubled. Anthony and Josh Merrick each recorded the lone RBIs for the Maroons, who are now 8-6 on the season.
