A car crashed into the side of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield.
The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle apparently left the road and crashed into the side of the building. Damage was limited to an Egyptian limestone panel on the building's southeast corner.
Museum spokesman Dave Blanchette says an exhibit about Lincoln's years as president is on the other side of the damaged wall. Blanchette says operations are continuing as normal at the museum.
