DJWH Welcomes New Nurse Practicioner

The Dr. John Warner Hospital's Rural Health Center has a new face.

Marsha Atkins will be the new Nurse Practicioner at the Rural Health Center. Business Developer at the city owned hospital, Sandy Rice, explains Atkins will be an adult nurse practicioner and will see patients 13 and older, and some may see her in the nursing homes.

Atkins is a native to the Farmer City area and is quite familar with central Illinois. She has taught at Parkland and the University of Illinois. Atkins is a recent ricipient of her second Masters Degree in Adult Nurse Practicioning. Rice feels she will be a great addition to the DJWH staff.
