The hospital received donations in their physical therapy department, cardiac therapy department, emergency room, and last year a donation was made to the ambulance department. The physical and cardiac rehab departments received new treadmills, and according to President of the DJWH Foundation, Dixie Walden, the new treadmills came at just the right time.

The emergency room received a Glide Scope which is going to be a very versatile device for her department. Renee Cavelink is the ER manager at the hospital, she says the Glide Scope is a "best practice device" and they are very grateful to have it in their department.

Last year the Foundation donated an auto-pulse unit to the hospital. Retired doctor for the DJWH, Dr. John Veirs believes the auto-pulse units and the Glide Scope are two tools that greatly improve the service of the hospital and can make life saving impacts for it's patients.
