Indiana Governor To Speak In Champaign Today

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is scheduled to speak at the Champaign County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner.

Daniels is set to give remarks Thursday evening in Champaign. Daniels is serving his second term as Indiana governor. He previously was director of the federal office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush.

Union supporters plan a rally in Champaign on Thursday afternoon outside Assembly Hall to protest Daniels' visit.
