Clinton Lady Maroons defeated Meridian 11-1 in six innings in Macon on Wednesday night. The Lady Maroons offense came to life scoring 11 runs on 15 hits which included 4 triples and a home run. Offensively Morgan Hickman broke out of a hitting slump going 2 for 4 with a triple and home run. Emily Kroeger, Megan Tool, and Regan Pinkerton also tripled and Bailey Walker added a double. Several other players added singles in a game which saw every Lady Maroon batter get at least one hit.
Bailey Walker picked up the win.
The Lady Maroons travel to Sullivan on Thursday to take on the Lady Redskins in another Okaw Valley Confernce game. Game time is scheduled for 4:30.
