Professor Says Obama Could Commute Ryan Sentence

John Marshall Law School Professor Ann Lousin [[ Lou-seen ]] says it may be a good idea for President Obama to commute former Governor George Ryan's prison sentence.  She says Ryan suffers from Type Two Diabetes, which puts him at risk for a heart attack or stroke.

Lousin says the question is whether the people want Ryan's family to take care of him, or do they want the federal government to keep footing the bill.  She says if President Obama did commute the sentence, it likely wouldn't happen until after the November election.
