The Ambulance Advisory Committee's Chairperson is ready for the challenge of deciding on an ambulance service for the County.

Teresa Barnett is the Committee's Chairperson and she understands the challenge and task at hand and feels very equipped to handle the responsibility. Barnett will lead nine other committee members, and she feels assigning duties and organizing themselves is their first task.

DeWitt County Board Chair Melonie Tilley laid out some goals for this committee to try to meet. Barnett feels they are appropriate given the time sensitive nature of the task at hand. While there is not a lot of time to form an ambulance service, Barnett feels the pressure or stress is not going to be too much for the committee to handle.

Barnett says the committee is going to be thoughtful and thorough towards the task at hand. She has full faith in each of the members of the committee to make the right decision and do their due diligence for the residents of DeWitt County.
