Lawsuit Filed After Alleged Goose Attack

Mitsubishi Motors may have to dish out 50-thousand dollars after an alleged goose attack.  Todd Cole claims he was seriously injured after being attacked by geese while working at the Mitsubishi Motors North America plant in Normal.  He's filed a lawsuit in McLean County court, seeking more than 50-thousand dollars from Mitsubishi.  Cole was working a job at the plant for contractor Waddell Battery Corporation on May 27th, 2010, when he says the geese knocked him down, injuring his right shoulder, according to the lawsuit.  Cole's attorney claims Cole suffered both mental and physical anguish from the incident and will continue to suffer in the future.  Cole's lawsuit says Mitsubishi "knew or should have known of the risk of the attacks by geese."  He says the automaker had a "responsibility to mitigate the risk" but failed to protect Cole and others working in that unspecified location.  Mitsubishi's spokesman says the company has no comment on the lawsuit.
