As heard on WEZC the Monticello Sages defeated the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans by a score of 3-1 at Monticello High School. Jacob Williams picked up the win on the mound going seven innings, striking out 20, giving up one run three hits with no walks. Logan Stelzriede got the loss for the Trojans going six innings, striking out six, giving up three runs on eight hits.
The Sages next WEZC broadcast will be May 19th against Clinton or Olympia at 10 AM.
