(Speedway, IN)  --  The final practice round session wrapped up yesterday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Marco Andretti ended with the month's fastest lap at 223.676 miles-per-hour on Tuesday.  Fast Friday is today and Pole Day qualifications start tomorrow with Bump Day on Sunday.  The 2012 "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" is slated for May 27th.

>>NASCAR's All-Star Race Set For This Weekend

(Concord, NC)  --  NASCAR's All-Star Race is set for Saturday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Drivers who qualify for the all-star race are those who won a Sprint Cup Series event from either the 2011 or 2012 seasons.  Additionally, drivers who won the all-star race or the series championship within the previous 10 years are eligible.  Three more competitors will be added to the field on Saturday night, with the top-two finishers in The Sprint Showdown and the winner of the Sprint Fan Vote advancing.  Over the past eight seasons, the all-star race has had eight different winners.  Carl Edwards won the star-studded affair last year.
