>>Berkman To Have Surgery For Torn Meniscus

(St. Louis, MO)  --  Cardinals first baseman Lance Berkman has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee.  According to the "Post-Dispatch," he'll have surgery later this week and is expected to be sidelined six-to-eight weeks.  Berkman was injured stretching for a ball Saturday in Los Angeles.

>>Cardinals To Wear Camouflage Logo Hats On Special Days

(New York, NY)  --  The Cardinals will wear special caps on Monday.  Every major league team will don hats that feature the club's logo in camouflage and outlined in a team color.  The hats will be worn on Memorial Day, July 4th and September 11th to raise money for the Welcome Back Veterans fund.
