Robinson says they're willing to negotiate but they can't bear the full brunt of the budget fix.

Robinson adds state employees didn't cause pension problems in the state.

A current law gives free healthcare benefits to state employees who work more than 20 years.  But lawmakers have passed a bill that reverses that law, and requires retirees to pay for healthcare.  Robinson calls the bill an attack on their benefits and says lawmakers must be held accountable.  They're asking lawmakers and Governor Quinn to stop making pension decisions without including the union.  Quinn has committed to signing the bill that takes away free healthcare benefits.
