Cardinals' Berkman To Miss 8-to-10 Weeks After Surgery

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Lance Berkman is expected to be sidelined eight-to-ten weeks after surgery Friday to repair meniscus and cartilage tears in his right knee.  However, the procedure revealed no ligament damage, which could have ended Berkman's season.  The six-time All-Star suffered the injuries last Saturday while stretching to make a catch on a routine ground ball against the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Berkman has played just 13 games this season.
