>> Bulls Introduce Guard Marquis Teague

Marquis Teague got a taste of big-time basketball last season, helping Kentucky win an NCAA title as a freshman. Now he's on an even bigger stage in Chicago with the Bulls, a step that will require him to pick his game up even more.

Teague, the Bulls' first-round pick and No. 29 overall, was formally introduced by the team earlier this week. He knows plenty about the pro game because his brother, Jeff, a point guard for the Atlanta Hawks, has filled him in.

General manager Gar Forman also made it clear that the team values restricted free agent center Omer Asik, who has agreed to a 3-year, $25 million deal with the Houston Rockets. Chicago has three days to match the offer or let him go.

>> Bulls' Noah Off French Olympic Team

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will not play for France at the London Olympics because of the left ankle injury sustained during the NBA playoffs.

Noah told L'Equipe he was "absolutely not ready. Not ready to run, not ready to jump."

The 12 players who will represent France are to be announced Thursday.

It's still unclear whether San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker will make the cut after a scratch to his cornea in a fight involving singer Chris Brown and members of hip-hop star Drake's entourage.

France's Olympics opener is against the United States on July 29.
