The Brooklyn Nets are no longer trying to acquire Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. ESPN is reporting that trade talks have ended after a final attempt to work out a deal fell through on Wednesday afternoon. The Nets final offer to the Magic was four future first-round picks, center Brook Lopez and power forward Kris Humphries in sign-and-trade deals. Orlando rejected the offer. The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers are still reportedly making a push to trade for the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
