Relatives of the family killed nearly three years ago in their home in the central Illinois town of Beason are asking a judge to turn the house over to them.
Judge Thomas Harris said Friday in Lincoln that he will set a hearing in the next few weeks on the request from Nicole Gee.
Gee is the daughter of Rick Gee. He was killed in the home in September 2009 with his wife, Ruth, and 3 of their children.
Defense attorney Dan Fultz says that Nicole Gee wants the home so that she and other family members can claim belongings.
Two brothers from nearby Armington, Chris and Jason Harris, have been charged with murder in the deaths. The brothers aren't related to the judge.
