British Open Tees Off At Royal Lytham & St. Annes

The third major of the golf season gets underway this morning with first-round play at the British Open.  Tiger Woods is paired with Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose for the first two rounds at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club.  The world's fourth-ranked golfer is seeking his fourth Claret Jug and 15th major championship overall.  Defending champion Darren Clarke is paired with Ernie Els and Zach Johnson for the first two rounds.  Clarke closed with a 70 to beat Americans Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson by a single stroke last year at Royal St. George's.  Mickelson will be paired with top-ranked Luke Donald and Geoff Ogilvy over the first two days.  David Duval won the last time the Open Championship was played at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in 2001.
