First Set Of Inmates Moved From Tamms

(Tamms, IL) -- The first set of Tamms inmates have been moved to a new facility. Thirty minimum security inmates were transferred to the Hardin County Work Camp at Cave-In-Rock yesterday. It's all a part of Governor Quinn's plan to close Tamms by the end of next month. Prison workers and union members are not happy about the move, claiming it will create dangerous situations for inmates and staff inside the prisons where inmates will be transferred.
