Lincoln Heritage Committee Of DeWitt County Hosting Event This Evening

The Lincoln Heritage Committee of DeWitt County will be hosting a special program, “Lincoln’s Legacy: Effecting Lives After His Death,” presented by Kim Bauer.  Currently, Bauer is the Executive Director of the Coles County Historical Society. An avid Lincoln historian, Bauer was Curator of Lincoln Exhibits at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library in Springfield for many years and has also served as Director of Lincoln Heritage Project for the city of Decatur.  The presentation will take place tonight at 7 pm, at the Warner Public Library’s Revere Room.  There will be no admission fee and the public is invited to attend.  For more information regarding the program, the Lincoln Heritage Committee of DeWitt County, or DeWitt County’s Lincoln-related sites and history, please contact the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau at 217-935-3364 or chamber@clintonilchamber.com.
