BMW Championship Tees Off This Morning

Rory McIlroy [[ MAC-il-roy ]] has won two of his last three starts and has three top-five finishes in his last four events.  That has helped him climb to number-one in the world rankings and to the top spot in the FedExCup playoff race.  He'll take his scorching hot game to Crooked Stick this morning for the BMW Championship, the third of four FedExCup playoff events.  Crooked Stick is hosting this playoff event for the first time.  Last year at Cog Hill, Justin Rose opened with an eight-under 63 and hung on to beat John Senden by two strokes.  The field was cut down to 70 after McIlroy's win on Monday at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
