Thanks to Hurricane Isaac's remnants, soil moisture levels are considerably better, but there is still a need for rain. We'll see much cooler temperatures this weekend as we enter the fall season according to State Meteorologist Jim Angel. We'll warm up a little bit early next week with the next significant chance of rain next Friday.
