Authorities have identified a suspect dubbed the "Bucket List Bandit" who's believed to be responsible for bank robberies in nine states.
According to an arrest warrant issued Thursday, 54-year-old Michael Eugene Brewster has been charged with a robbery that took place Monday in Erie.
He was nicknamed the Bucket List Bandit after allegedly telling a Utah bank teller he had only four months to live.
The warrant says a confidential informant contacted the FBI office in Erie and provided Brewster's name.
Authorities then reviewed surveillance video from various robberies and found an "obvious likeness" to Brewster. A bank teller also identified his picture.
Brewster is also a suspect in robberies in Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, North Carolina, Tennessee and Illinois.
